Audio Engineer/Sound Designer
Austin McMaken is a professional audio engineer who works with Disciples Christian Church.
With over 12 years of experience in live sound and studio engineering, he expertly brings
projects to their full potential. Austin has worked with a range of artists spanning a broad
spectrum.
Austin McMaken is a graduate from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Since
relocating to Cleveland, he has established himself in the local audio community, working with
venues like The Winchester, Bop Stop, and Mahall’s and artists such as Apollo’s Fire, The
Sunrise Jones, and The Tenors. Austin spent 8 years as an audio engineer focused primarily on
recording and mixing music for commercial release. While he still frequently works on this type
of project, he has transitioned focus back to an earlier passion — live sound.
Known for combining his studio and live sound experiences, Austin McMaken creates a hybrid
experience which elevates productions to new levels. This also makes for exceptional results
when events require live sound reinforcement as well as live-streamed audio. With Austin at the
helm, there will be no question the people at home are receiving the same exceptional
performance as the live audience.

Amy holds the Microsoft Office Specialist: PowerPoint Associate Certificate. She has been making PowerPoint presentations at Disciples Church and for other organizations for many years. She has been live streaming via Zoom since 2020 and is also able to stream using Facebook Live.
