Weddings at Disciples Christian Church

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding!  We are pleased that you are considering Disciples Christian Church for the celebration of your wedding and the start of your married life.  DCC welcomes ceremonies of couples regardless of religious belief or sexual orientation.  All are welcome. 

 Questions & Scheduling of Wedding and Rehearsal

Contact the Office Administrator at 216-382-5344 or Amy@discipleschristian.org.  She will answer any questions you have and/or check building availability for your selected wedding date.

Our Facilities

Disciples Christian Church has a capacity of 500 in the Sanctuary, is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible.  Our facility and grounds are available for pictures before or after the service.

There will be two rooms available for the wedding parties prior to the ceremony, in addition to the Fireside library. 

You may have access to our building two hours before and one hour after your ceremony.  Any additional time must be approved (as scheduling allows) by DCC at a fee of $75/ each additional hr. 

DCC does not provide wedding coordinators, but Rev. Jason is happy to oversee rehearsals and coordinate logistics with couples regarding the order of the service and the staging of the wedding parties.  

It is your responsibility to arrange for the care of any items belonging to the wedding party before, during and after the wedding, and for removal of those items following the wedding service.  Disciples Christian Church is not responsible for your personal belongings before, during or after the wedding ceremony.

Music

Our Music Director may be available to provide piano music at your wedding.  If she is not, you may enlist another pianist from outside of DCC.  Any other kinds of music (live or recorded) are your responsibility to oversee.    If you wish to play recorded music through our sound system, you may be asked to hire a technician.

Wedding Fee Schedule

Deposit:  $250

This is a non-refundable fee that reserves your wedding on the church calendar.  The deposit is  

subtracted from the total balance due.

Building Rental:  $500

Building Rental for one hour rehearsal:  $200

Rev. Jason Bricker-Thompson:  $300 (optional)

Amanda Powell, Music Director:  $200 (additional rehearsal fee of $75) (optional)

Church Representative who will run the sound board and provide custodial service:  $200
