Children's Ministry on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m. and during Connections Worship

Babies, Toddlers through Age 2 at 10:00 a.m. - The Nursery (located in the hall just west of the Fireside Room) is staffed by a certified Nanny who takes care of children while their parents attend the Worship Service, Fellowship Time, and Adult Sunday School programs. We are equipped with a pager system so that parents can be paged if they are needed.

Pre-School Children - Ages 3 and 4 at 10:00 a.m - The children are welcome to go directly to the Nursery (located in the hall just west of the Fireside Room), or to join us in the sanctuary for the Young Disciples' Moment that occurs about ten minutes into our Worship Service. Parents are welcome to accompany their children when they come forward to share a few moments with Pastor Kris. Following the Young Disciples' Moment, the children leave to have music, a Sunday School lesson, snack, and playtime.

Children - Kindergarten through Grade 5 at 10:00 a.m. - Children attend the first few minutes of the Worship Service with their families and then go forward for the Young Disciples' Moment with Pastor Kris. They are then dismissed to go to their Sunday School classes which are on the second floor of our Oakridge Wing.

Our Sunday School curriculum is called Rock Solid. Each week children receive their own leaflets containing a Bible story, information, and activities that correspond to each lesson; use a variety of hands-on experiences to help learn the Bible in ways they can understand; and are challenged to take God's word to heart and apply it to their daily lives. The curriculum is enhanced with games and music that help provide necessary connections to their lessons.
