Outreach Blitz

Disciples Christian Church's annual Outreach Blitz is a day that there are outreach opportunities for everyone in the congregation, regardless of age or skill level.

On that day, we go out into the community to a number of different locations and agencies to do whatever needs done.

In the past we have gardened at Hope Gardens, a Memorial Garden that supplies vegetables to the Heights Emergency Food Center. We've planted vegetables with the clients of 2100 Lakeside, Cleveland's largest men's homeless shelter. We have painted waiting rooms at Care Alliance Health
Center and performed for the residents of Edendale House, a group home for adults with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Along with other activities in the community and within our church walls.

It is a wonderful day of helping others and growing as a community of believers.
